John paints exclusively in oils, direct from life,whether it be on the river Thames in London or the Southern African bush.
John makes regular painting trips to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia where he also works as a safari guide for Nomad African Travel.This year though, he will be travelling to India to study and paint tigers in Kanha,Bandhavgarh and the Sunderbaans.
He has exhibited and sold widely throughout the UK, with work showing in the 2009 New English Art Club exhibition.
As well as being a group member of the Fountain Gallery, he is also a member of Chelsea Art Society.
