After
working together in the creative industries this is
the second time to exhibit personal pieces together
for artists Marianne Nix and Sandra von Haselberg.
Marianne's
paintings are instinctive, conveying an inner and outer
world through shape, colour and texture. Using watercolour,
acrylic and oils, a painting is done while recalling
an event or feeling. Sometimes the work is created at
the very time of the experience.
Sandra makes paper compositions with snippets of magazines,
newspapers and photographs. Part-sculptural, part-painterly,
her work alludes to the entomological idea of capturing
beauty in order to study it.
