Timeless
images of travels along the green ribbon of the Nile.
An exhibition of paintings by Jill Storey and ceramics
by Beryl Hole.
A
recent journey through Egypt has left Jill with strong
memories of its history, people and places. Sparkling
light on water, the stillness of the desert, the magical
atmosphere and warm colours of historical sights, the
vibrancy and bustle of markets and spice stalls have
all inspired this group of paintings.
Beryl has developed some colourfull Raku pots which
reflect the theme of this exhibition as well as her
usual stoneware and delicate porcelain vessels.
