Travelling to Alaska this year Linda was overwhelmed by the beauty and colours of the glaciers. They are so huge yet vulnerable and surprisingly noisy! Now she is enjoying the exciting challenge of using her images to translate into stitched textile pieces the mood and isolation and coldness of the region using silk, chiffons and paper to conjure up this ethereal landscape.

The potter Terri Smart will be joining her at the Fountain with some sympathetic hand thrown pieces.
