The
Exhibition will include a collection of David's paintings
and drawings exploring the chiaroscuro effect of light
and shade depicting the interaction of people in everyday
situations. The monochromatic use of tone to simplify
form will evoke a mood and encourage a response from
the viewer to the implied narrative within the work.
Elaine
is a Potter known for her thrown stoneware fired to
a high temperature with colourful abstract designs but
for this exhibition will be showing burnished smoke
fired and raku vessels in monochrome.
David
and Elaine have exhibited together for the last three
years and their work complements each other and the
Exhibition provides an exciting challenge for both Artists.
