Autumn Shows

At last some cooler weather and a little rain, we’re sure we must all happy with that. And we have some fabulous new shows coming up we’re as sure you will enjoy.

Steff Jaegemann starts our early autumn programme with Reverie. Her show opens tomorrow, 1st September, and runs until Sunday 13th. She showcases bold, textured acrylic paintings, featuring metallic accents - immersive, large-scale works evoking dreamlike moments and striking visual impact.

Out of the Blue with Beverley Waller from 15th to 27th September. Beverley brings us evocative, striking sea and landscape paintings, opulent with shimmering colour and texture, alongside vibrant mixed media drawings on handmade paper and iPad art.

Nataliya Zozulya is next with her latest collection of oil paintings delving into the unspoken desires of femininity. Ceramicist Florence Bobin joins her. The show runs from 29th September to 11th October.

Vibrant Florals with Nel Whatmore and Polly Rose Morris runs from 13th to 26th October. With swirling seascapes and evocative landscapes, contrasted with purposeful linocuts, shimmering with gold leaf. Mother and daughter duo.

And now for some snippets from our arty lives away from the gallery. With the autumn season about to start we’re getting busier.

Alison Holt is participating in the inaugural Sussex Art &Sculpture Trail 2026, an exhibition hosted by sculptor Jonathan Hateley at his home and grounds near Sedlescombe, East Sussex, and supported by Pure Arts Group. 5th to 19th September, 11am to 5pm daily. Free event.

Teddington Artists annual Art Fair will take place at Awesome Studios in Teddington High Street this weekend, 5th and 6th September, where you can explore work by 19 artists, including Fountain members Anouschka Hutton, Jim Woodman and Tracy Florance https://teddingtonartists.co.uk/

Fountain Gallery artists Joanna Lloyd, Tracy Florance and Jennie Ing are exhibiting with the Surrey Loft Artists at Denbies Wine Estate from 7th to 13th September.  https://www.denbies.co.uk/pages/art-gallery

Vicky will be back at West Dean College in September, teaching her popular Mixed Media Collagraphs course. The course offers students the chance to explore texture, layers, colour and chine collé, while developing their own unique collagraph prints in the beautiful surroundings of West Dean.

In November, Vicky’s work will be on show at Gorstella Gallery, followed by an exhibition at Sarah Wiseman Gallery in Oxford. More details about both exhibitions will be announced soon.

Stephanie is introducing a new placemat series mid September. These 6 designs, shown here as preliminary rough samples, are drawn from treasured objects she has collected over the years. Nataliya Zozulya’s painting of Portland Bill has been accepted for the Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition at Mall Galleries 16th-26th September. 

Jim Woodman will be showing new work with John Iddon Fine Art at the British Art Fair to be held at the Saatchi Gallery from the 24th to the 27th of September.

Ann Marie Whaley will soon be going off for a week's drawing on the south coast. The seasonal colours and changing weather are great prompts. She is almost packed and ready to go...windbreaker and charcoal at the ready.

Tessa Pearson RWS is exhibiting at Bankside Gallery ( next to Tate Modern) with the Royal Watercolour Society in their autumn show opening 2nd - 31st October, an excellent opportunity to see contemporary watercolour painting at its best. 

Tessa will also be showing new large floral monoprints and paintings at Affordable Art Fair Battersea with Barnes Collective Gallery on stand K4. 14-18 October , Evolution London, Battersea Park. Complimentary tickets available, please contact Tessa. 

Sharon Withers will also be exhibiting at this October’s Affordable Art Fair, Battersea 14th – 18th October with No Naked Walls Gallery. Find her work on stand H8.
