Living Landscapes: A visual journey through paintings and sculptures, inspired by my travels across Australia - where nature reveals its timeless essence through the four elements: earth, sky, ocean and fire.
For many years, nature has been Yulia Robinson’s primary source of inspiration — our planet with all its wonders waiting to be discovered, felt, and reconnected with. The exhibition Living Landscapes reflects this ongoing dialogue with the land.
Focusing on the vast and distant continent of Australia, with its extraordinary and unique natural environments, the works explore landscape not only as a place, but as an experience. Through experimentation with bold colour palettes, richly layered textures, and expressive, intuitive paint application, the paintings evoke both the raw power and the quiet serenity of nature.
Living Landscapes brings together three artists — two painters and a sculptor — united by a shared exploration of landscape beyond geography. Through texture, colour, and organic form, the exhibition moves between tranquil seascapes and deeply tactile surfaces.
This is a gentle yet immersive journey into perception — into how we feel, interpret, and emotionally inhabit the world around us.
