Journeys – travels through the landscape

A series of paintings and drawings that are a reflection of Emma’s personal journey over the last twelve months. JOURNEYS explores the process and healing power of being amongst the natural landscape, finding a solitude that has come from daily meditation and regular walks in our natural world – each piece taking the viewer on their own journey of self-reflection and connection with the landscape. Oil paintings and graphite drawings that are at once atmospheric and ethereal depictions bringing a sense of calm, at others expressing the turmoil of emotion from within – all rich in colour, expressing a sense of depth and light.
