Rock, Paper, Scissors: Contemporary paintings and textiles. Applying a sustainable approach, the landscape is reimagined through the subtle colours and textures of nature.
In this new series of paintings and textiles, Debbie offers a personal and sustainable exploration of the British landscape. Using inks and pigments foraged from natural materials, she creates subtle works that reflect both the physical beauty and emotional resonance of the land.
Each piece becomes more than a visual impression—it is a symbolic response, an echo of fleeting moments felt in the wild.
Sculptural works by Rachel Stormonth Darling will be exhibited alongside Debbie’s paintings, offering a complementary dialogue between form, material, and landscape.
Evoking a palette of emotions through her art, Rae draws from her own life experiences and the countryside around her for inspiration. Working from her studio at home in North Dorset her materials of choice are clay, wax and plaster.
From the initial sculptural sketches of ideas her provocative pieces evolve into works of power and vulnerability.
